Bamboostan was founded in 2020 on a simple belief: everyday products can be beautiful, functional and eco-friendly at the same time. Founders Divya Munot and Siddharth Munot left the bustle of Mumbai for Assam, home to some of India's richest bamboo resources. They were drawn to bamboo's rapid growth and natural strength, and they saw it could do far more than make decorative products. Their vision was a world where homes are built with bamboo, workplaces carry its elegance, and everyday essentials are made with care for the planet.

Siddharth brings deep entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Bewakoof.com and an IIT Bombay graduate. Divya leads with a strong commitment to sustainability. Together they built Bamboostan into a trusted name for bamboo products for the home, office, fitness and crafts, all 100% made in India. Bamboostan also built a strong supply chain across Northeast India, rooted in fair trade and support for local communities. That foundation of manufacturing, sourcing and bamboo expertise is what made BamPro possible.

Why BamPro Was Created

As Bamboostan grew, a new kind of customer began reaching out: architects, interior designers and project owners. They weren't looking for a single bamboo product. They wanted to know whether bamboo could be used across an entire space, with the consistency, sizing and finish that professional projects demand.

It is a dedicated brand for the professionals who design and deliver spaces, drawing on the same manufacturing strength and bamboo knowledge behind Bamboostan, with a focus on the needs of specifiers.

What BamPro Offers

BamPro is a coordinated range of premium bamboo materials, designed to be specified together across a single interior. A designer can build a complete, consistent look from one source instead of combining materials from different suppliers.

Wall panels add warmth, texture and depth to feature walls, lobbies, reception areas and living spaces. Ceilings bring a natural rhythm overhead and soften large rooms, restaurants and corridors. Partitions and privacy screens divide a space without closing it off, letting light and air move while still creating separate zones, which suits open offices, cafes and hotel suites. Beams, boards, slats and dowels provide structure and fine detailing, and designers can use them to create custom features, cladding and joinery. Blinds bring natural light control with a soft, organic character, and decorative lighting completes the space with pieces that cast warm, textured light.

Made to Your Specification

Every project is different, so BamPro materials are made to fit. Each piece is cut to the dimensions on your drawings. Finishes are chosen for each project, in natural tones that show bamboo's light, honey-like character or carbonised tones that give a deeper, richer look.

Samples are sent before an order is placed, so you can see and feel the material, check the finish against your design and share it with your client before committing.

Made In-House, From Start to Finish

Every BamPro product is manufactured at our own facility in Rukminigaon, Guwahati, Assam. The process is fully integrated, from raw bamboo intake to finished, packed material.

Keeping everything in-house matters for professional projects. Our own team checks quality at every stage of production, which keeps the finish consistent across every panel and piece on large projects, and it means timelines don't depend on outside suppliers.

We work with bamboo species native to Assam and Northeast India, chosen for their strength and suitability for interior use. Sourcing close to our facility also supports the communities who grow and harvest bamboo in the region. Our marketing and sales team operates from Mulund East, Mumbai, so architects and designers across India can easily reach us, discuss their projects and get support.

From there, we finalise specifications, matching sizes and finishes to your drawings, and move into production and delivery, with your materials made in our Guwahati facility and dispatched to your site.
