Where it fits your day
Dinner
Under the hot pot
Lay a few leaves flat and the hot pot of dal or curry sits straight on the table without scorching the wood. Solid bamboo takes the heat; use one leaf or several depending on the dish.
When idle
A tree on the counter
Stacked back onto the post, it stands as a little bamboo tree — the storage is the sculpture, so it never goes in a drawer.
The chai pot
Under the kettle
A leaf under the kettle or chai pot catches the heat and the drips on the counter.
A leaf as a coaster
Pull one leaf off and it's a coaster under a mug.
Leaves that detach
Each leaf lifts off the central pin — use the number the dish needs.
A table centrepiece
Assembled, the tree holds the table while it waits for the next pot.
A trivet set that earns table space.
Hot dishes at dinner
Pull a leaf off the tree, set the hot dal pot down. Surface protected from heat marks; bamboo handles the warmth without scorching.
For the chai pot, the kettle, the cafetière
The leaves work as individual coasters too — one under the kettle, one under the cafetière, one under a coffee mug. Different sizes for different objects.
Sculpture when it's idle
Stacked back together, it reads as a small bamboo tree on the kitchen counter — a piece, not a stack of stuff. Earns its spot when not in use.
Space-saving by design
One small footprint on the counter; the leaves disappear into the tree shape when stored. Easier to live with than a drawer of mismatched coasters.
Description
Bamboo Tree-Shaped Trivet Set
Leaf-shaped bamboo trivets that stack into a tree on the counter and come apart when a hot dish lands.
Pull a leaf to set down a hot pot, kettle or cafetière; the bamboo handles cooking heat without scorching and the varied sizes match the right leaf to the right object. When the meal's done, they stack back into a sculptural shape rather than living loose in a drawer.
Real bamboo, natural finish. Wipe clean after use; don't soak.
