Why people carry it

A long-form notebook with a calm cover.

The long journal

160 pages — almost a year of half-page entries. The notebook you finish, not the one that lives half-empty in a drawer.

Office & college notes

A semester's worth of notes in one notebook. Soft cork cover stays grippy in the hand and gentle on a tabletop — quieter than hard plastic.

Planning, brainstorming

For projects that take months to think through. Brain dumps, sprint plans, ideation pages — the cork cover ages naturally with handling.

Pen-friendly paper

80 GSM smooth ruled paper — handles ballpoint, gel, rollerball cleanly. Less bleed-through than thinner notebook paper, more daily-use comfortable than premium drawing paper.

Built well

Three things make it work.

01

Real cork cover

Natural cork — softer in the hand than wood or leather, naturally grippy, naturally water-resistant. Ages with use; doesn't peel or chip.

02

160 pages, 80 GSM

Twice as many pages as the [[Eco-Script Bamboo Diary]] (100). 80 GSM paper resists ink bleed-through — heavier than typical notebook paper, lighter than printer paper.

03

A5-style, ruled

15 × 21 cm fits the standard laptop bag and tote. Ruled lines for everyday writing — meeting notes, journal entries, list-making.

Quick answers

Before you decide.

Cork or bamboo cover — which?

[[Eco-Script Bamboo Diary]] (100 pages, ₹599) for the wood-grain warmer feel. Cork (this, 160 pages, ₹599) for a softer-handed notebook with the most pages. Same price, different surfaces, different page counts.

How many pages?

160 ruled pages — about a year of half-page entries, or a semester of detailed class notes, or several months of project planning. The most pages of any Bamboostan notebook.

Will my pen bleed through?

80 GSM is heavier than typical notebook paper — handles ballpoint, gel, and rollerball cleanly without significant bleed-through. Very wet fountain-pen ink may show through; ballpoints and gel pens don't.

Will the cork wear?

Cork ages naturally with handling — small softening at the corners, slightly darker tone over time. That's the cork patina, not damage. The cover doesn't peel, crack, or chip the way leatherette can.

Is the cork water-resistant?

Naturally yes for everyday spills — wipe up promptly. For sustained moisture (rain, kept on a wet surface), use a sleeve or move it. Cork is moisture-resistant, not waterproof.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the cork cover with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking. Pages are paper — handle the way you'd handle any notebook.
