Why people practise on it

A mat that anchors the practice.

Hot & sweaty practice

Cork's grip strengthens with moisture — sweat doesn't slip, it anchors. Ideal for vinyasa, power yoga, and any practice where the hands and feet keep getting damp.

Alignment, printed in

A central guide line, end-to-end markers, and reverse-side reference points. The mat tells you where the hands and feet should land — useful for solo practice and self-correction.

Steady through every transition

Surya Namaskar, Warrior chains, balance work, deep stretches — the mat stays put under quick weight shifts. The non-slip backing holds the floor.

Home, studio, travel

Rolls compactly. Fits standard mat straps and bags. Honest cork beats PVC for the bag carry — no plastic smell, no chemical sheen, no peeling after a year.

Sweat anchors the grip. The printed lines keep you square. Roll it out, and the practice has a place to begin.

Where it fits your life

Where it fits your life

A cork mat is quiet about what it does. It grips harder the more you sweat, corrects what no teacher is watching, and rolls down to travel with you. Here is where it earns its place.

A studio floor, wherever you unroll it

Home practice

A studio floor, wherever you unroll it

Living-room corner, the few feet beside the bed, a cleared patch of kitchen tile. The non-slip latex backing holds wood, tile, or carpet, so the mat doesn't creep forward in Down Dog. Roll it out and the same square of floor becomes the place practice happens, morning after morning.

The lines correct what no teacher is watching

Learning the shapes

The lines correct what no teacher is watching

Practising alone, it's easy to drift: one hand forward, hips off-centre, feet uneven. The centre line, end-to-end markers, and placement points show exactly where hands and feet should land. The mat becomes a quiet self-corrector, so the shapes get truer over weeks without anyone calling it out.

Rolls down, carries honest

Studio & travel

Rolls down, carries honest

Rolls to standard dimensions and slips into any mat strap or bag. Cork beats PVC for the carry: no plastic smell warming up in the boot, no chemical sheen, no peeling after a year. Take it to the studio, a friend's terrace, or a hotel room, and the surface you trust travels with you.

And a few more

Through the day

Morning flow

Morning flow

Surya Namaskar before the day starts. Quick weight shifts, damp palms, the cork only grips harder as you move through the chain.

Stretching & mobility

Stretching & mobility

Long holds in pigeon, low lunges, hamstring work. The 5 mm cushions the knees without losing the floor your balance needs.

Sitting to meditate

Sitting to meditate

Cross-legged on a warm, natural surface that doesn't off-gas plastic. The cork stays quiet and still while the breath settles.

Carrying to class

Carrying to class

Rolls into a strap and rides to the studio. The grip you trust at home is the grip you bring to a hot, crowded room.

Out on the balcony

Out on the balcony

Terrace at sunrise, a patch of garden, balcony among the plants. The non-slip backing holds rough outdoor flooring, so practice can move outside.

Who reaches for it

Beginners practising solo who want the shapes to come out right without a teacherHot-yoga and vinyasa regulars whose old mats turn slick with sweatHome practitioners building a daily ritual in a small spaceTravellers and studio-goers who carry their own matMovers using it for stretching and mobility, not just asanaAnyone leaving PVC behind for a natural, antimicrobial surface

Built well

Three things make it work.

01

Real cork surface

Naturally non-slip — and the grip activates with sweat. Antimicrobial, odour-resistant, biodegradable. Unlike PVC mats, cork doesn't off-gas plastic-smell when new.

02

Alignment system, printed in

Centre line for body symmetry. End-to-end lines for length. Central + reverse point markers for hand and foot placement. The mat is a self-corrector for solo practice.

03

Non-slip backing

The base layer holds the floor — wood, tile, or carpet. The mat doesn't slide forward in Down Dog or sideways in Warrior II.

Quick answers

Before you decide.

Is cork better than PVC or rubber?

For grip in sweaty practice — yes. Cork's grip activates with moisture; PVC and many rubber mats get slippery. Cork is also naturally antimicrobial and biodegradable, doesn't off-gas plastic-smell, and ages with use rather than peeling.

How does the alignment system work?

A central line runs the length of the mat for body symmetry. End-to-end lines run the width to mark hand and foot positioning. Central and reverse-side point markers help you land in the same place pose after pose. Useful for solo practice without a teacher.

Is it good for hot yoga?

It's the ideal mat for hot yoga, sweaty vinyasa, and power yoga. The grip strengthens as sweat builds, where most other surfaces lose grip.

5 mm — is that thick enough?

5 mm is a balanced thickness — enough cushion for the knees in low lunges and pigeon, thin enough that the floor stays felt under the feet for balance work. If you need more padding, a folded towel under the knees solves it without trading the floor connection.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a damp cloth after each practice. For deeper cleaning, dilute 1 part white vinegar in 3 parts water, wipe, then air dry flat. Don't roll tightly when wet — the mat needs to dry in flat shape.

Does the mat fit standard straps and bags?

Yes — rolls to standard yoga-mat dimensions and fits straps and carry bags sold separately.
